Lightbulb Out of State License Plates (how many do you see)

I've seen a pretty decent amount of out of state Licenses: some from Florida, Arizona, etc, but I would like to know how many on average you guys see here in LA too. It's tourist seasons and I think it would be informative to know who's visiting and what not, so please feel free to share how many Licenses you've seen.

I've seen a lot of them lately. I usually don't notice them but geez, what crappy drivers!

One IDIOT actually parked smack on a corner almost blocking traffic trying to make right turns. Yeah, it was raining and yeah, I know it is hard to find parking BUT it's totally illegal and I hope they got a huge ticket for that.

Another thing I notice is that a lot of the out of state cars/trucks are newish, gigantic gas guzzlers. They look so out of place parked next to all the hybrids and Smart cars.

I hope all these people aren't moving here!

Funny you said this. I was just thinking the same thing. Amazing how many more I have been seeing since the car tax went back up. I'm sure the revenue generators (AKA CHP) will be on the warpath against out of state tags soon.

My kids grew up playing the out of state licence plate game ("out of state Arizona!::slugs me in the arm: and it was a rarity....and now it's impossible to drive through town anymore without being "hit". LOL. Good thing it's a friendly game. They are from all states, it's nuts. I thought everyone was LEAVING CA.

Mexico plate, driving in the carpool lane with no passengers, LOL.

Having moved from CT, I notice them more. In CT you pay property tax on your car, so I had some incentive to register my car in CA fast. When I was in CT I would notice a lot of CA plate-along with all other East coast states. I think a lot of students contribute to this pattern.

I have seen quite a bit of OOS plates, surprisingly, a majority from the East Coast. The NYers seem to go above and beyond though with their personalized CA plates, indicating that they're NYers. ? Inferiority complex on their part?

Also I'll never forget the car from Utah that had its windows down and 2 or 3 passengers looked to be "laying down" on pillows, feet/arms sticking out of windows on the 5/10 interchance during the morning commute. I thought they might be hardcore granola heads. They really stood out. SMH.

Always see out of state plates around here. I see Hawaii more often than I'd imagine(do they ship the cars here on a boat?) and I saw my first Alaska plate last week

Things must really be bad in FL to be driving to LA. Surely they're not looking for work. If they ask for directions, give them directions to Compton.
