Hey everyone, first time poster here.

Anyways, my girlfriend and I have recently been accepted to CSUN in the Fall. Just last week we made a huge one day apartment search. We pretty much looked at every luxury apartment in Northridge, Chatsworth, and Woodland Hills. The places that caught our attention the most were the Archstone @ Warner Center, The Villagio in Northridge, and Bella Vista @ Warner ridge. Anyone here happen to have any experience living in these apartments? If not, do you have any recommendations?

We are basically looking for somewhere safe, a bit upscale, access to parking garage for both of our cars, and in relative proximity of CSUN.

Thanks!

wish I could help but the places our daughter lived while going there, although were nice then are probably yucky now. That was about 30 years ago. It doesn't seem possible, both she and her husband are CSUN grads. The last year or so she lived in the sorority house, so I just don't have a clue, but enjoy your time at CSUN, she sure did..

The places you listed all seem fine. I am not familiar with the Villagio in Northridge but it has the tremendous advantage of being walking/bicycling distance from school. That will save you a lot of time and the cost of two parking passes on campus.

Woodland Hills to Northridge is not that great of commute as you are mostly side-streeting it.

Warner Center is more upscale than that part of Northridge though.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I have noticed that almost every apartment that I have looked at has less than stellar reviews on apartmentratings.com. Is that site a liable source of information? I am under the impression that a lot of the reviews on that site are probably coming from competitors rather than actual tenants.
