The 24 Hour on 525 Colorado is going to be closed mid-May to mid-June for remodeling. It needs it, since the weight machines are partly broken or rough. In yelp you will see most people think it's dark and dirty. They told us that in the interim we can go to another branch, like the one on N. Halstead.

I saw a member read the notice and then go talk to the management, as if she decided to cancel. But then it's only about $35 per month.

I considered LA Fitness once, but it's about 49 per month. There is one called Breakthru (near the Trader Joe's on Lake) but it's way more than that. However these two seemed a lot cleaner than the 24 Hour.

Yes, I am NOT a fan of the 24 hour fitness in Pasadena. That said, it is NOT the worst in the LA area.

The BEST 24-hour fitness that I have seen is the one in Sherman Oaks. Very nice facility and a very high ratio of hot looking women.

I think I've had enough of waiting in lines to use the machines. I bought my own equipment.
