I'm moving to L.A. next month and I'm looking for places to rent.

This is the address:
1800 N California St, Burbank, CA 91505

I realize Burbank is a pretty safe area, but it seems that this house is somewhat close to North Hollywood... not sure if that makes it a little less safe?

thanks!

I don't know Burbank well enough to address your question but have you made sure this house was not in a flight path of the Burbank Airport? It is very close.

I don't know the exact block but the neighborhood on that side of Hollywood Way up near the library/park is kept-up & seems to be family-friendly, so nothing rly sketch. If you're concerned, you should give a call to Burbank PD and see if there have been any break-in's in the surrounding blocks.
