I'm interested in the apartment complexes in this area. I'm also interested in the Natchez Landing complex on W. Napoleon and Clearview Parkway. Any thoughts or impressions???

Lafranier Park is a pretty safe area. Some "sides" of the park might be nicer than others as far as apartments go. I used to work on Clearview by W Napoleon and it was an ok area. As with any area in NOLA, you never can be too safe. I would say, check out the complexes you like, look at some of your potential neighbors including the parking lots. If you see a lot of broken down cars, you might want to think twice, otherwise, go for it. A nice area to look for apartments would be the "Creeks" in River Ridge.

That area is pretty safe. I have a son who lives in the area, but if you can afford the Creeks in River Ridge I would go there. A lot of apartments in the Clearview/W.Napoleon area are old.
