So should I try a burger from Judice Inn when I need a "mental health day?"
It is definitely good for your taste buds. I'll give it that much.

There is Sandra's Health Foods right off of Johnston Street, just passed Camelia Boulevard. They sell organic foods and other natural products.

I am also from the rockies, and my brother lives here in Laf, and works for BNSF. My recommendation... STAY IN CO!!! ;D Ha ha!!! I am now stuck here, since I married a LA boy, and had a child. But, the schools here will NEVER compare to CO, or most of the U.S. for that matter!!! Even the private schools are not up to par. I do love LA for many reasons, but after living here 5 years, I am SOOOOO ready to go back to CO. The wonderful part about LA is, the Youngsville, Miltion, Maurice & Abbeville areas have open space, which is hard to come by in CO. The cons of LA are the muggy, humid weather, & mosquito problem! The locals said I would get used to it at first, but I have tried, and I actually feel it has become worse, and most of the locals I talk to now, still complain about the weather and mosquitos. Anyone that is NOT from LA originally, know all about the local education... not to mention the amount of uneducated citizens, add to the problem! Hope your husband doesn't loose seniority by moving here.

Health food: Local fresh produce ~ Fresh Pickens (local company) on kaliste Saloom, Fresh Market in River Ranch on Kaliste Saloom, and you will LOVE Rouse's in Youngsville (local company)

Just some honest info from a CO native! At least you have the truth, to help you make decisions! ;D Good luck!
