Default animal abuse

The owners and emplyees of the State owned facility in Belle Chasse, plaquemines parish, louisiana have forbidden the people who have fed and cared for 30 cats there, to give them NO WATER, NO FOOD. this has gone on 3 days already. someone needs to notify the TV and radio of the area that this is going on....it's abuse to deliberately starve any animals to death. and they refuse to let the caretakers remove the cats to another area to save their lives.
messages need to be left for Dr. Frederick Cerise, secretary of DHH, protesting the actions of the administrator, Dr. Cheryl Knight, in charge forbidding security guards from feeding or water.
the Office of Citizens with Developmental Disabilities phone # is 504.361.6322
the department of health and human services ! oversees the OCDD department...their # is 225.342.9500
to PROTEST these actions, and try to save the lives of 30 cats, who have been well cared for for the last two years, please call the local radio and TV stations NOW and tell them what is being done to these poor dependent creatures.

The BEST thing you can do to fight this legally is to contact the Humane Society of Louisiana. This organization actively persues cruelty cases, and is capable of promoting your cause in the media.
