Hey gang ...
Can y'all tell me about Opelousas?
It intrigues me. I'm looking for a quiet little house on one-to-five (or more) acres to live a peaceful life growing my own food and hopefully raising some chickens and maybe even a few other animals.
An unrestricted area would be great... but if not, then a place where I can create half of that dream. So I'm not only asking about the city itself, but areas surrounding it.
I'm a 58 year old retired brother who is really tired of drama.
