Default National Park speeding

Recently, I travelled to Arizona and got a speeding ticket in one of the national parks. Is the ticket issued by the Federal or the State? What if I don't pay?

If it is a Park Ranger it would be Federal. No pay equals warrant issued for your arrest. If you travel thru this area in the future and are pulled over again you will go to jail. Since it is a Federal ticket they may be able to prevent you from any Government loans or programs. Bottomline pay your fine, and don't speed.

Goodluck.

P.S. also if your in another federal park area in the country if i'am correct there computers are intergrated. They will know about your warrant.

Default National Park Ticket

If it was a state highway it is a state ticket. If it was a road internal to the park it is a federal ticket

It will definitely show up on your driving record whether you pay or not. I got a speeding ticket 2 years ago in St. Landry Parish while visiting Louisiana. I currently live in California. I did pay the ticket, but the citation still showed up on my driving record. Since I don't live in Louisiana, I was hoping my insurance company would not find out. About 8 months ago, my insurance company did a random check on my record and found that I had been cited for speeding In Louisiana more than a year before. They raised my rates. If you choose not to pay the ticket and a warrant is issued for your arrest, that will likely also show up on your driving record. It could be sufficient reason for your insurance company to drop you.
