Question ORLwizyan Redirectory: Governing System.

The ORLwizyan Campaign has been considered in the efforts of our followers and enthusiast and would like to address a common issue with our campaigning structure.

Both followers and disagreeing bodies have questioned the future planned governing system: an unique Oligarchical-Republic with an elected representative based government with a system of 5 elected head officials.

We would like to ask here: City-Data, Louisiana which political system would you like to be expressed in this campaign.

So....did you not have a thread almost exactly the same as this, only promoting the oligarchical system? So the 200 or so members of this campaign can't agree on even what type political structure there will be? What weight would a poll by members of C-D carry?

Seems your 200 members need to take a vote amongst yourselves and work it out (including minor details like the political system) and then see whom they can get on board with their plan unless you are planning on seceding from the Union and then setting up shop. Or are all of the above acceptable to your group but you want the popular vote?

Yes, we do have another thread here on City-Data similar to this but like you said it focused on promoting the oligarchical system which both positively as with opposition by commenters here on City-Data and our other feeds. We have only a few supporting followers ( three I think ) here on City-Data, so just as on Facebook, Twitter, Skyscraperpage etc. and others we asked the same question, tallied the results and with the CPB made a conclusion.

Our supporters here, were not included in the resulting change in our governing system since they did not vote nor formulate a positions on the topic through e-mail etc..

That would be correct, the 200 supporters is a inflated estimate ( they are Facebook likes and Twitter followers mostly ), I would say about 30 people actually voted on this matter all together from our other feeds, maybe larger but certainly not all 200.

and ...

Early United States certainly did not unanimously agree on what government they wanted, as Americans still argue on the topic today.

Strong or Leak, Social or Capitalistic, Liberal or Conservative, Central or Not ...

According to Michels Iron Law of Oligarchy, every political/government institution in the world must, of necessity, evolve toward Oligarchy, so you might as well just make the leap, and be that far ahead of everybody else.

Iron law of oligarchy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The USA is a pretty rigid Oligarchy already, but this fact is still widely obfuscated by our Media Handlers who preserve the quint notion that voters are conscious of the issues and possess the collective power to influence them.

The plain fact is that Louisiana never should have allowed itself to merge into the USA gradually over the past 50 years or so. In the middle of the 20th century, Louisiana was still pretty much an independent republic, with only tenuous links to the USA as a whole. Should have just resisted American Imperialism And Carpetbagging in Louisiana. Where is Huey P. Long when we need him.
