Hello,

Hopefully I am going to start my new job at UL-Lafayette in August.
Until I get a car I am looking for a decent apartment around UL Lafayette campus preferably at walking distance or on the bus route.

I do appreciate any suggestions you may have.

Thanks.

Walking distance apt won't be a comfort choice, pick River Ranch if you could.

Default River Range apartments are kind of expensive

Thank you very much "009811".
I checked it on google but it appears that River Range apartments are kind of expensive.
I have been looking for a preferably two bedroom around 850 or less depending on the quality.

At the moment an apartment on the bus route to UL-Lafayette is vital for me, until I got a car in two months.

Thanks again,

Well there is a nice complex off of West Congress and Betrand that several of my friends stayed at. Its safe, located next to a fantastic Louisiana specialty market called Rouses, and eating places across the street. It also houses a high number of UL students, and you can park a little ways down at Cajun field and get a bus ride to school.

There is a apt call "Bayou Shadow" on Congress. Their 2br apt is in your budget range.
