Holly Beach Lodging
Has anyone stayed in the Holly Beach area recently? If so, could you recommend a place to stay for a few nights?
Thanks,
John

Need info about Holly Beach, LA
Are there any hotels/motels in Holly Beach? Where do you stay if you visit? Are there sandy beaches or just mud? Are there any sandy beaches in Louisiana? Any info or pictures would be helpful.

There is still white sand on the beaches of constance Beach and Gulf Breeze Beach which are 7 miles west of Holly Beach. If you contact Dick and Nancy Redfish Haven they can refer you to the new RV park that is open at Constance Beach. I belieive the name is The Palms. The water was beautiful last weekend. Please leave your 4 wheelers at home because we are trying to keep it quiet down there as opposed to Hollly Beach which allows motorized vehicles on the beach.

Holly Beach RV Park is open for business. They have about 20 RV sites located 1 1/2 blocks from the beach front. You can see and hear the water. There are no large camps in front of the RV spots. The owners are Brenda and Leward Abshire. Their contact #s are: 337-569-2109, 337-523-5712. We've had great success with the fishing and crabbing. We stay there at least one weekend every two months. I recommend the concrete side versus the grass/sand. If you go, tell Brenda and Leward Rhonda said hello and I'll see them real soon.

There are no hotels in Holly Beach. There are a few travel trailers for rent. You can contact Brenda and Leward Abshire of Holly Beach RV Park. They have a nice camper they rent out. The numbers are: 337-569-2109, 337-523-5712. The closest place with a hotel is Cameron, but I can't vouch for it. The beaches are considered sand, but it's a brown sand. I love Holly Beach, but I wouldn't go if I was looking for a nice sandy beach. I go for the crabbing and fishing!
