New Orleans! Po-boys, $3 huuuge daiquiris and amazing jambalaya at Cafe Maspero. "Watch your step" sidewalks, Bourbon street, chicory coffee...Crawfish, cheap, plentiful, and SPICY! Best in the world. Real muffalettas, boudin. Amazing music, fortune tellers, the Whirling Dervish.

The swamps (oh lord the swamps...), the smell of ocean, walking along the Mississippi. Canoeing or tubing down the Bogue Chitto...getting attacked by nutria. Bugs bigger'n anything you'll ever see.

The culture, the history, the community. What old south should be.

I've lived in Louisiana all my life. I think my favorite thing is the Arkansas border.

Default Stories about Bigfoot sightings!

It seems that everybody knows somebody (usually a hunter) who has seen a bigfoot. Or they know somebody in Luna who saw a UFO. Louisiana is just teeming with supernatural wierd stuff. Must be something in the water or swamp gas!

What has happened to the little town that I grew up in? Farmerville was a great place! Except the cops. We didn't get alone too good. They had my drivers license more than I did.

You probably haven't got caught going 125 mph in a 35 mph zone on a motorcycle either. When they caught up with me the next day, they thought maybe I should go to jail. Can you believe that? Then there was the time................ and then..................

It is now but back then, I don't recall finding a lot of humor in it. But I brought it all on myself. Uncle "Bud" was a bad influence on me!
