Default Familiar with Chataignier?

YES, I grew up in Chataignier! (and darn proud of it)
Was uprooted, against my will, at the end of my Freshman year of H.S.
So, is anyone familiar with this little gem of a spot?
It's funny, bc growing up people in neighboring towns, including Eunice, Ville Platte & Mamou, just minutes away, had never heard of Chataignier.
Just wondering if any of you had!

debjame is on a distinguished road
I only found it when I was looking for towns with less than 1,000 people. It's near where both of my parents (my whole family, really) grew up - Opelousas, Louisiana.

I'm a native Californian. Currently, I live in the City of Alameda and have for 20 years. It's getting just as crazy as places like Oakland, Richmond, etc. I'm planning to retire in 15 to 20 years and would love to live someplace that's quiet and peaceful.

What is Chataignier like?
