Default most of louisiana is missing out on Craig's list!

Do you all not know about Craig's list??? It is wonderful! But very few citites in Lousiana are on it. We are moving to Alexandria and it isn't on there. I can't seem to get it added from here-maybe becuase I have posting of things for sale from my area in FL. and you can't cross list. YOu all need to do something about this from there-get on Craig's list and get your state up and going. You'll love it.

I couldn't agree more. We actually live in West Monroe now, having moved back here from Las Vegas and also lived in Dallas. I'm used to these larger cities being on Craigslist and I have found so much using it. I would love to see our small town participate but not sure how to get our city signed up?? Then again, how many people around here would even use it? Unfortunately, after living in much larger cities and coming back here, seems this place is so far behind everywhere else in the country. Come on Louisiana, catch up !!!

I've lived in Louisiana for a while. Went to LSU and Southeastern and must say that people are super friendly and nice, but not the fasted in adopting new trends/tools/etc such as craigslist. For crying out loud I still don't think they even have a Costco in the state. Love New Orleans though. Great city.

Louisiana by population only has 4.5 million people.

...that's one million people less than the Houston metro area, 1 and half million less than the Dallas metro area. That's not a lot of people, its cragislist is about the same as its similarily populated neighbors (Mississippi, Arkansas, and even Tennessee has the same number of cities/entries designated as Louisiana, 5).

You are right, Big Boy. The state as a whole is WAY BEHIND everyone else in the country. Makes it hard when you come back after living elsewhere. I guess I got spoiled with all the perks of a bigger city and more sophisticated places...lol. But is participating on Craigslist too much to ask...get with the program Louisiana. Try and keep up at least...lol.
