I'd love to help, but you seem to be posting in the Louisiana forums for information on other states. I can't help you there... but with 6 casinos in the Shreveport-Bossier area, there is plenty of room for new dealers I'm sure. Plus the area is very kid-friendly. Down in the casino district are quite a few of this area's largest family-oriented attractions: Louisiana Boardwalk, Sci-Port Discovery Center, Riverview Park, and Barnwell Center. All of these are nice attractions for people with kids and are literally steps from the three largest casinos in the market.

And if I were going to be a Blackjack dealer, I would either work at Eldorado or Horseshoe. I do believe that both of those casinos do well in that regard.

Please don't be hesitant to stay in Louisiana... give north Louisiana a chance if you're looking for something different. It's still Louisiana, but it would give you a different change of pace and plenty of room for growth in the gambling market.
