Default high school in Alexandria or Pineville

I have a sixteen yr. old dual enrolled student that will be relocating to the area next year. I have tried to email Bolton high school in Alex. but havent' heard back. Is there anyone who can tell me about the high school in Both these towns? I think they both offer dual enrollment. Do they wear uniforms? Do either one offer any more "rural" type of clubs for the "country/outdoorsy" type of kid? Is one better than another?

Bolton High School is an inner city school with a great gifted program. Alexandria Senior High (ASH) is located in a more suburban type of environment in west Alexandria and is a decent school overall. Peabody High School in Alexandria is a predominately black high school in the Lower Third area and does not perform as well as other schools in the area, but it does have some magnet programs. Pineville High School is the largest school in the area and is one of the better schools. Tioga High School is a mediocre school. All schools have a dress code. All of the schools probably have rural types of clubs such as 4H, but Tioga and outlying schools serving surrounding rural areas most likely have the greatest number of students involved in these clubs.
