Can anyone tell me about Vinton?Is this an area with a lot of horse farms?I know Delta Downs is there.If a farrier(Horseshoer)moved there,would there be a lot of business?

ok kimm here goes what i know! there are lots of horses in this area! i do believe you could make a decent living between the Vinton, Sulphur and Lake Charles areas .. check the GMC truck place in Sulphur the owner has a horse farm and could prolly hook you up with some contacts. Thanks man.I was looking at the satellite photo of the area and it does look like a lot of farms around there.I think I will like it there

Vinton is a good place. Small, quiet, friendly. About 30 minutes down the road from me.

We have lots and lots of horses but I honestly can't tell you if you'd make a decent living in it. I don't know much about the business.

I can tell you that this area is great.
