Default Which part of Louisiana are you least familiar with?

Which part of Louisiana are you least familiar with?

For me, it's the northern Florida Parishes just south of the Mississippi border. I never hear anything about this area.

Looking at a google map, I'm least familiar with the area in the middle of the triangle formed by the cities of Shreveport, Alexandria, and Monroe and the area directly north of the triangle. Places like Winnfield, Jena, Rayville, Jonesboro, Harrisonburg, Coushatta, Winnsboro, Columbia, Ruston, Bastrop, Springhill, Minden, Homer, etc.

For me it would be the Florida Parishes esp. Bogalusa area and the river parishes btwn BR and NO. I have travelled through most of the rest of the state.

For me it's the the western part of the state between I-10 and I-20 and west of 49, say along Toledo Bend. Which is funny because I'm pretty familiar with most of east Texas.

I really don't know anything about Caddo and Bossier parishes, and further south in the western part of the state...De Soto, Sabine, Vernon, etc. I'm not sure that I've ever visited those areas once.

Ive been through most of southern Louisiana and northwards through Shreveport and Southeast into CLinton and Jackson where my aunt lives, but I havent seen much north of New roads, anywhere in Northeastern Louisiana. I have a friend who was born and raised in St Joseph though. He said its a really hick town and they tell directions using field names. They also apprently dont like outsiders much. He now lives in Lafayette not far from me. his GF also moved here from the Gretna area.

Daisy8 is on a distinguished road
The southwestern areas as I have only driven through pretty much anything west of Lafayette. Also anything off the beaten path, as in not near or off an interstate. I can say I'm familiar with the areas around Hwy 1 / 71 since we used that highway prior to I-49.
