International Marine: located in Larose, LA
Is this a good offshore company to work for? I've been offered a position as a deckhand, and I was considering the position to make some extra money? Is this a good idea?

i work for transocean in their marine department, you can check them out, and they pay for a lot of travel expenses. also if you go to gcaptain.com you can check their job listings linked to several websites all at once.
idk about international marine much, but if it works for you then go for it, im just sayin check out the rest before making a final decision because there are a LOT of companies out in louisiana.

Honestly, I would research all other marine companies in the area. I worked for Int'l offshore and would not recommend them. I would see what other options there are out there which I know there are alot. I think there are alot of companies out there who appreciate their employees. Intl does not pay for travel and management is probably not aware of how the Personnel department treats their workers. There is no reason people should be treated in a rude manner! Good Luck
