Yes Gas Buddy is a good way to find gas prices all over the country instead of posting individually on here.

Oh for heavens sake! How on Earth do ya'll up there in BR get gas for $3.79?! I had to fill up in Slidell after visiting my Mom and paid $3.89. Seriously, I need to test drive a Moped.

As I type this, the prices are all clustered around the $3.90 range for the 87 octane gas. Several Chevron stations in town, however, are the notable exception - they fearlessly have crossed the $4 mark and still seem to get business.

That seems cheap to me compared to $ 3.97 here in Arkansas. and that is for reg. If you want high grade wow! How are gas prices in the small towns outside of BR, like Gonzales or Prairieville-are they about the same?

They seem to be higher than in BR. And in BR, Chevrons in general and the Shell station at the corner of LSU Avenue and Highland Road crossed the $4 mark weeks ago.
