Default Any mild summer temperatures in Louisiana?

Hi. Can anybody tell me if they are aware of any mild (less than 85 degree) temperatures that average out during the summer anywhere in Louisiana??

Haha!! Nope. Sorry to laugh, but I figured I'd lighten the mood. During the Summer in Louisiana you'll generally be looking at 95-100, with some days as low as 90 and some days at 105+.

You do know that with our humidity, 77 degrees can easily feel like 85.
It has been 80+ in BTR for all of only 13 days since April 1, and I remember most of March of warm as well. That's typical Louisiana weather.

For the most part the heat permeates the entire state. Southern La has a somewhat wetter summer than does the northern part of the state. However, cool fronts are not unheard of even in mid-summer though they are rare. We have actually had nighttime lows in the 50's in July and August, but most of the time the lows are in the 70-75F range.

The heat and humidity are prevalent throughout La in the summer. I can't tell the difference between Shreveport and Baton Rouge or New Orleans during the summer months. It just doesn't usually rain up here as much in July August and September.

I think that's ending this week around here!
We just started hitting 90+ and I've been scrambling to finish putting in a patio before the misery begins. Yardwork in these humid & searing summer days is not fun!

The bonus is April up until now was gorgeous!

Default summers

I love the weather here a lot! I came from South Florida and I must say, the summers here are the same as Florida but do not last nearly as long. It was 85 on Christmas Day where I used to live and loved the 50 degrees we had here at Christmas time during the day! Really, you need to go probably north Louisiana, but having never been there, I have no idea of the summers and heat there. Good Luck!

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! (wiping eyes) Nope.

Oh, and summer starts in May (sometimes April) and lasts until October (sometimes November).

On the up side, the damp air keeps our skin from drying out.
