Default clubs for families in Alexandria and nearby cities?
Hi. When we get moved to the alexandria area I am hoping to meet many new friends. I homeschool my daughter, so I wont' be meeting anyone at a job somewhere. I was thinking it would be nice during the long hot summer days to belong to some kind of club and meet up with people. Can anyone suggest various clubs in the area (neaby pineville, woodworth, etc...) for families to join?

I'm not any help, but I was wondering the same thing. We will be moving to Alexandria/Pineville in the next few months. Where do people go to meet friends? I will be a SAHM.
