Moving to the stonewall, keithville area soon (Mansfield, Greenwood: for rent, houses)

I am Rachael and I am gonna be moving to the Keithville, Stonewall area b/c My fiance is getting a Job transfer to a plant in Mansfield, La and I hear that the closest, safest place to live is in Keithville, Stonewall Plus I have family in Greenwood... So I wanna kinda stay close to both places...

I have looked an looked for places in the newspaper and I have found a place that has houses for rent but they want me to pay 50.00 to look on there internet site to see different houses...

I dont know how soon we are gonna be moving... It could be next week, 2 weeks from now, or even a month or 2 but I need to start looking now b/c I have 2 kids who are in school and would like to know what all I need to do to pre-pare them for schooling...

I, too, am looking to move back to Louisiana in the next month or so. I am originally from Keithville, so I can tell you that renting is hard to do down there. At least, trying to find something online. I would recommend going to the Thrifty Nickel (Google it). Also, you may contact DeSoto Parish government offices to get the local publications (newspapers, etc.) there. Those offices are located in Mansfield. If you come across something out there on the net, please let me know. Thanks, and good luck with your move.
