Cool Mobile Home Park Living in Shreveport

We are considering of relocating to the Shreveport/Bossier area from Brandon, Mississippi. Before we make a serious commitment to purchasing land and/or a house. We're playing with the idea of moving our single wide mobile home with us, just until we decide on where we want to plant our feet. Are there any "nice" mobile home communities in or around the Houston area? The only reason we are considering bringing it with us is because it's already paid for. Which will help out alot in the relocation costs. However, the thought of unseen "trailer parks" is ssscccaaarrryyyy!!! (if ya know what I mean). We are not trailer trash!

Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. We're planning on relocated in the next 6-8 months and want to start looking now.

I'm sorry I seem to be missing the point here. Houston is 4+ hours southwest of Shreveport-Bossier.

Houston is HOT as Hell. Go North, my friend!
How about Corinth, MS? Tupelo? Paducah, KY?
OIl city, LA = it's north of Shreveport....

Katrina survivors are not always welcome in Houston.....

personal expreience. Too bad you can't tow that trailer
farther north!

We are considering relocating to Shreveport / Houston / or the Ft. Worth area. So I posted the same thread in all those areas looking for feed back. Sorry I forgot to change the city in the body. But thank you for bringing it to my attention. Leave it up to SBCMetroGuy! Just Kiddin

With all that said, does anyone have any helpful information regarding the original post? Please help!
