kinder and oberlin
can somebody tell me if KINDER and OBERLIN is a nice place?any information please because i am assigned to work there..i have no idea of thise places whatsoever..thank you so much  |

They are both very small, quiet, rural areas. The only nightlife is the Coushatta casino. Not much else to do unless you hunt and fish. A few fast food places. One grocery store in Kinder, Market Basket.
These are great places if you're looking for a quiet, simple, rural life. If you're used to being in the city it will probably drive you crazy. lol

It's very, very RURAL unless you count the Casino. However, you're only a few minutes out of Lake Charles, LA (small city) and about 3 1/2 hours out of New Orleans.
