Default Where are the best greenhouses, garden centers
Hoping to move to LA after the first of the year, looking for garden centers in the southern part of the state. Have degree in Horticulture and another in Landscape design and want to know where to look for work. Also, husband will be looking for employment as a welder, currently works in welding shop building various use tanks, all sizes, 10+ years experience.
Appreciate any input. Thanks

OldRebel is on a distinguished road
About 40 miles southwest of Alexandria, is the small community of Forest Hill. It has become a marketplace for wholesale and retail horticulture supplies. Also, in Alexandria, in the center of the state, is a new venture that builds railway tank cars. At one time, they were in dire need of experienced welders. Good luck.
