Default Moving to Central Louisiana
I have been currently reassigned to the prison in Pollock Louisiana. I am a single father of 3 children, and was wondering first of all where would be the best place to live? What school districts are the best? My children are are elementary ages. Is the daycre high in this area, and does anyone offer 24 hour daycare? Thank you in advance for your time.

Pineville would probably be the best place for you to live. Pineville, for the most part, is a nice area. JI Barron is a good elementary school located in the Highway 28 East area. Alexandria has both good and bad areas, but Pineville would be your best bet because it is much closer to Pollock than Alexandria. Besides JI Barron, there are some other good schools in the Pineville area, but I don't know much specific information.

I also work in corrections Jena at the GEO facility. Immigration detention. Pineville is a good place. If your looking for cheaper housing Jena or Olla. Very small country towns.
