I-20, even though there is a boring stretch between Monroe and Vicksburg, it a much better drive. It's pretty safe for the most part, especially along the interstate. I wouldn't venture too much into Vicksburg or Jackson.... Good places to stop for gas or food would be Ruston, La or West Monroe, LA, then Clinton, MS, then take US 49 south. Well, that is the way I would go anyway. Have a great trip!
I disagree. I-49 is one of the smoothest highways in La. and it's quite scenic. I love looking at the oaks in fields and the lack of billboards and trashy exits with gas stations/etc...

Drove it today to and from Washington, LA on our visit to Magnolia Ridge. Beautiful stretch of highway, partially for the reasons you cited. Just stay off the service roads south of Opelousas toward Lafayette. They are all being resurfaced.

Default Switch to Linear Mode

Your point is valid. I should have noted that the only thing that I changed was the Profile/Axes; Logical Axes; 3&4 mode from Abs to Rel.

Thanks for your replies. I was hoping it was some setting that I could just change. I think I will have to put in a support ticket. And Im afraid if its a driver bug that I will have to wait for 6 months for it to be fixed...

I have a very strong feeling I have somehow seen this same post in another unrelated old thread from this same user (or one with a very similar name) before... I am so confused.
