Well, seeing as all children are different, I won't guarantee that it isn't.
But I remember playing in a pretty cool children's area at Hurricane Harbor in Dallas/Arlington when I was about 10. I didn't play in the toddler area where babies were just sitting down in 2" of water, but they had a really great 2' pool with jets spraying up and rope swings to walk across and mini slides and such, and that was fun for most kids it seemed between 4-12 at that time. But then again, maybe we just weren't cool back then. :P We definitely rode bigger rides too.

The kid's areas at Schlitterbahn is similar, so I imagine your daughter will easily find something in that area that she would like to spend most of her time in. But there are other rides and attractions that you can do as a family as well. This park is pretty family friendly and because of it's reputation, it appears the staff takes more pride in keeping the park tidy and clean. You don't see as much nonsense, goofing off at this place... I guess mainly because everyone is having too much fun doing something.
