About 10 years ago when I was into that scene, there were a number of clubs to go to. Nowadays, 516Soundstage downtown seems to cater mostly to teenagers, but is a good place for those types of music. Little Joe's Tavern has rock concerts, but mostly college-type rock and not goth or punk. Themed nights? I don't know, besides the vampire gatherings which I really don't know much about. I was contacted once to photograph such an event, but since I left that lifestyle nearly a decade ago I had no interest in it and declined... so I never got to explore where they meet, what they do, etc. I know my older brother is into the vampire movement but I don't believe he ever makes time for their gatherings anymore.
