aexman is on a distinguished road
Very rarely, on days with an east wind you can detect the scent of the International Paper Mill at Pineville. Because the mill is almost 10 miles from the center of Alexandria the smell is somewhat faint.

I imagine it's like the petrochemical plants here in BR - you only smell them when there's a strong norther bringing cold weather.

...Besides, as they say "...it smells like prosperity..."
