Well I was born in the Bronx,NY moved to Brooklyn, NY then when I was 4yrs old moved to Miami Beach, Florida for 2yrs then came back to Brooklyn, NY because my mom couldn't get by on her own, didn't know anyone and didn't drive so it was IMPOSSIBLE for us back then out there to survive and now I am still in Brooklyn, NY (Coney Island section, to be exact) but dying to RELOCATE somewhere else in the NEAR FUTURE any suggestions where to?

Welcome! They say south Louisiana is nice. I have not been there but would love to go.

I am moving to Arkansas. Which I think is nice too! Depends on what you are looking for!

I've been in Baton Rouge for 30 years straight, now, and If I play my cards right, I'll be here for at least another 30 (putting me at 93).

I lived near Maringouin, Louisiana for my first 18 years. Moved around several places after that, including Houston, New Orleans, and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Baton Rouge born, lived all around the state for the last 20 years. Want to get out for awhile and try someplace else. There's so much I love here though, not to mention almost all my family is here.

many aren't here because they are unsure if you are. I am from Florida and thought the same at first. Just talk and most will spill their life and beign to ask of yours and well it's almost always connected. WEIRD but somewhat comforting after being in such a large city it is kind of nice to feel a connect with strangers.

I grew up in Walker Louisiana (east of Baton Rouge). I lived in Baker LA briefly before settling in Zachary about 13 years ago. Zachary is located 13 miles north of Baton Rouge. We visit the SBC area quite frequently though because my husband grew up in the Keithville area and his 2 kids from his first marriage are growing up in Haughton where their mother moved about 13 years ago.

Okay sorry, I couldn't get my little icons off.

Hello everyone! I was born in Farmerville, raised in Bastrop, went to NLU in Monroe (tells you how old I am!), worked all around the state, and now live in Humble, Texas. I work in Houston but operate pipelines all across South Louisiana. Many family members still live in Bastrop, Monroe, Downsville areas so I go back to visit whenever possible.
