$175K and $250K are very reasonable for houses.

I'm okay. Just tired of people fussing at me about moving.

How are you?

Prices like that are reasonable?

I dont believe I mentioned that I am pretty sure that that price doesnt include the price of the land to put it on. So it could be much higher $240/175K but who knows I dont really know that much about selling houses

Everyone that comes to my town for shopping,eating...etc are always B***hing about the high cost of housing here. I figured it was high.

I DO NOT like fussy people! they annoy me(unless it is a baby or tot)

Guess it depends on the quality and size of the house. I've seen some really cheap starter houses, but they used low-quality materials, they were cookie cutter, on the edge of town, and RIGHT on the interstate. Not next to interstate access, just next to the traffic.

Are those manufactured homes of some sort if you have to put it on the land? Usually if you buy a house, the property is included in the price. I guess I'm confused.

NYC is one of, if not the, most expensive housing markets in the country, so just about everything looks reasonable in comparison. I do not think I could ever afford a single family home in a good neighborhood in the NYC area. And I cannot fathom raising a child here. Obviously, millions of people do it but it's not what I envision for myself!

Manufactured housing is an acceptable option for those who do not wish to take out a mortgage at the time. I've seen many of these homes not even look like trailers-- some on the lots look as good as the equilivant home with good landscaping, etc. The land here is cheap-- and I imagine it would be outside Indianapolis as well.

Housing in my area of Louisiana, isn't that great.. better than national, however. Housing in all parts of the state is declining, but not that bad. Louisiana is the only state (1 of 50) to gain jobs last time the numbers came around, but I'm not sure about now.

Ditto.

Would you believe that I am supposed to get some technology that almost all the classrooms have now, but they gave mine to someone else? I was on the list to receive it in this shipment, but they put the boxes in my room, then came an hour later and said it was wrong and took the boxes back out. They are not giving it to me because I am going to Louisiana.
