Ok now where is your favorite place to visit in Louisiana? I do not have one yet but I hope to visit some places this summer!

For Cenla/North La, Longleaf Vista in Natchitoches Parish. In my neck of the woods, Tunica Hills (which actually is across the Mississippi state line) and the Tammany Trace.

I would like to visit St. Francisville to see all the plantation houses there!

Being a city lover, I enjoy visiting downtown New Orleans, the French Quarter, Garden District, etc. I'm really into architecture but the plantation homes have never had much appeal to me, so I could skip all that stuff... it's the busy city life I seek out, and that is why New Orleans is where I always end up wanting to go.

Toledo Bend Lake, of course! Just love the place. Also like Lake St. John on the other side of Louisiana.

You've got to go! The plantation houses are magnificent! I think I've been to every plantation in Louisiana, and I never get tired of them!
