Post Info on Golden Meadow area

I'm writing a mystery and I'd like to use a place like Golden Meadow for a location.
I have all the statistics on the area, but I'd like to hear about it from people that live there. Stories, how the people are, football games, what do you do for fun, business, city government, weather, land, fishing, what the area looks like, plants, the local law enforcement, local wildlife (both animals and people), things that changed after Katrina, just anything you'd like to talk about.

Thanks.
