They are working on the one in the Kansas City area right now. It's near the race-track on the west side of the City. There have been delays from what I've heard relating to financing etc. but seems like it's moving ahead now.

Not saying it isn't going to happen in LA but with the economy etc. it might taken longer to get going than normal. Sounds pretty cool!

Default Schlitterbahn Waterparks coming to Lafayette, LA

A rumor going around about a waterpark in lafayette can be confirmed. I heard that Schlitterbahn has bought land near I-10 and Louisiana Avenue across from the new stirling shopping center to build the new waterpark. Ive heard that Schlitterbahn has backed out of Rayne due to a city conflict.
