Talking Thanks

I just wanted to thank the active forum members here. You all gave me alot of sound advice regarding my move to Shreveport and it was invaluable to me. We just found a home to rent in South Highland right by Querbes Park Golf Course right next to Youree Dr. (south of Kings, east of Line.) Quiet, clean street with well-kept houses and right by Youree.

So thanks for the advice everyone. It was a big, big help.

Querbes can be a tricky area as well, but if it's a "quiet, clean street with well-kept houses" then you did well. Sounds like you're on the good side of Querbes, you should be happy living there. You did say you're a cop, didn't you? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

no sorry, not a cop. hope that's not an ominous hint, heheh. I think I got in on the right side. The girl that lives there owned a house on the street and rented this one for a year and a half cause she's about to graduate her surgical internship. We spoke to her and a few neighbors and even a mailman, none of them had anything bad to say about the area at all. I'll be hoping for the best.

No, no... just saying if you were a cop, even better for you because you can feel safe almost anywhere. Like I said, sounds like you're on the good side. Querbes covers a lot of territory. Best of luck and welcome to Shreveport.
