Question need a bank in shreveport
can anyone recommend a good bank in shreveport? I've been with the same bank for years, love their service, but they have no locations there. I'm likely to only open up a checking account, so I'm not going to need any crazy services, cds, etc. Just something reliable, fair on pricing, and not a customer service nightmare.

I am with Chase, and surprisingly I love it. I was with Capital One for years (from the Hibernia days) but had a falling out with them.

Some more well-known local and regional banks in this area: First Louisiana, Ouachita Independent Bank, Barksdale Federal Credit Union, Community Bank, Iberia Bank.

Capital One. I'd still be with them if they had branches in Chicago.
