Now you have a reason to come to BR - if you can dodge the bulletholes on the way to the restaurant, that is (joke, ya'll)
..come to think of it, it may have been pecan sweet potato hush puppies. Either way, they were very good.

I've never eaten there, but from what I've heard it sounds decent.

I love your description of Ray's PeGe! They should print that out and hang it somewhere!
I will do a description. I chose Barnhill's (while a chain restaurant, they're all pretty different, different cooks, buffet style. Not like Golden Coral which are all the same)
You enter with an aroma of fried foods. It makes your stomach rumble. The colors, the sounds, the atmosphere is KIXXY. The fried chicken taste like it came out of mama's kitchen. The hot wings are spicy and to die for. The pies are oh so CREAMY.
Its just buttery! Its happening! Its Monroe.
(i hope this post made you happy. )

^lol. Now that I think about it, Monroe is kind of "buttery" . C'mon everybody, get in the thread and tell all about it.
I went to Eggroll express and had a Vietnamese dish I can't pronounce, but it was very good. Had pork, chicken, and shrimp and beef in it and lots of veggies served on egg noodles.

Boudin is good stuff. I'm partial to Tony Chachere's version, which comes in pork, crawfish, and shrimp.

Where is Eggroll Express?
Not that I really need to know as I'm currently working hard at losing over 100 lbs and Chinese food is one of my main vices, but I am curious. Is it in south Bossier? The name sounds familiar to me.

Contrary to the mascot on the sign outside, I rarely see people in business suits partake in the consumption of goods at this establishment.
