No, perhaps my language was too strong I just find it odd that the publisher did not notice this. I would say the same if it was the other way around. I don't complain about Shreveport evidently casinos have change the city forever

All the folk in Shreveport must be really upset that they haven't "progressed" like New Orleans has, huh?

Chocolate City indeed! And this coming from the Mayor! Shame on you if you see it as progress!

Shreveport-Bossier has a lot of potential How many cities lies on big lake and river. I would hope the city develop more around the Cross Lake area. Sorry to hear that Southern Hills is losing GM but I hope the city gov is trying to find industry to replace it.

I just remember eating great food at Ernest's and Brocato's. Did the casinos hurt the local restaurant trade

My apologies for my comment I just want the city to move forward.

I really don't know why I bother, but can you just cease and desist, imaterrry! I know one thing. I won't read any more posts by you for a long time. There is enough negativity in the world already.

The Forum is a Ad-supported rag that is very conscious about buttering up to those who may be or have been advertisers. So their choice of "Top 10 Anything" is probably based on that metric.

Thanks , this is the most logical answer-following the advertising dollars.

As far as Kurt, I want to hear about the positive things happening in the area but very few people post about it.

Wink Suggestion was for you to be positive, not others.

I just get my hackles up when people throw that word "racist" around. I probably overreacted a bit to your comments. My suggestion would be for you to find something positive to say and not wait for others to say something--or just re-title your posts, i. e., The part of Lafayette I saw was rundown or Could Shreveport paper be ignoring minorities. Anyways, I am not trying to shut you down--just be a bit more tactful and you won't raise so many hackles in your readers. I cease preaching. Best to you and I hope you find something positive.
