Shreveport Forum Newsweekly is Racist
I just read this magazine "Men in Business" and found that none of the selections were African American or Hispanic. I have nothing against the selection but a city that is over 50% minority should have some representation. Maybe this is one of the reason the city is not progressing

You're making some pretty bold assumptions and accusations based on one very trivial thing, don't you think? How about you worry about San Antonio and stay out of Shreveport's affairs?

It is a very good possibility that there are many organizations in Shreveport, run by blacks and whites, that consciously use discriminatory practices. These exist everywhere, and this particular publication may well be one of them. However, to accuse this magazine of racial discrimination based on such circumstantial evidence from one article is laughable.

seriously. what is to gain from downing our state and cities?
Its not like Texas isnt already a great state doing well in the tough economy with several large prospering cities. Why even bother to point out things about us?

I agree.
Why do you spend so much time on Louisiana's thoughts. You portray a lot of negative things. Imattery has ZERO personality to his posts as well.

I never gave any thought about the Forum being racist. Frankly I don't read it-all it is is la-dee-da drivel. Boooo-ringgggg! Kind of yuppiefied version of old style Shreveport Times. Wouldn't waste any sleep worryin' about it.

He once lived in Shreveport-Bossier. He was stationed at Barksdale, I believe is what he once told me on another forum a year or two ago. Ever since he moved, he's done nothing but complain and ask the same stupid questions about why Shreveport isn't growing anymore and he often mentions how many former Shreveport residents he knows in San Antonio who moved because Shreveport is so backward and San Antonio is so progressive, blah blah blah...
