Looking for good apartments in alexandria, anyone got any suggestions? I will be working in Jena however.

Or maybe Pineville apartments?

Magnolia Trace is the nicest and newest apartment complex in Alexandria but also the most expensive. Beau Terre is also nice and probably Nottingham and Rosewood are as well. Hermitage and Walden Pointe aren't the best apartments but they aren't terrible either. Pecan Grove seems to be decent.

I don't know much about Pineville apartments, but there are some apartments in the Highland Road area that look decent. The large complex on Hwy 28 East in the Highland/Stilley Road area is low-rent.

Thanks for that info. I am coming down this weekend so I will check a few of those out. I am considering renting for a year, then maybe building/or buying towards deville, or pineville area. Per say, NW of Alex.
