Shreveport Apts--Haystack, Colonial Plaza, Milicent Crossing (apartment complexes, gated, restaurants)

I'm relocating to Shreveport. Just wondering if anyone can tell me more about those three particular apartments.

here are some of my thoughts about these apartments:

Haystack: Okay, not my first choice. Don't really know anything bad about them though.

Colonial Plaza: In a great location, there are also some new, gated apartments being built directly across the street. The biggest plus is the area!

Millicent Crossing: My personal choice of out the three. I really like the location of these. Close to everything, nice area. There are a lot of apartment complexes around Millicent Crossing. A bit newer than Colonial Plaza.

I guess if it were me moving, I would choose Millicent Crossing or Colonial Plaza.

Thanks for your input shreveportfirl. When I visited Shreveport a couple of weeks ago, I really liked that area of town with all the newer development (restaurants, stores, etc...). Of all the apartments that I saw in that area, I liked Colonial Plaza and Millicent Crossing the most.

I actually didn't see Haystack while I was there though, but later I saw in an apartment guide that they are also in that area and quite a bit cheaper than the others (a plus for me). Just wondering why it's so much cheaper (older?, smaller floor plans?, crime/safety issues?).

Anyone else have any thoughts?
