Finding the right home was a bit of a task since homes sell like hotcakes here!! Our realtor was wonderful. He knew exactly what we wanted, and when that home came on the market we were the first to see it. Bought it and have thoroughly enjoyed the area. There are plenty of good eating and shopping places, and it's right on the interstate to larger towns. We are so glad we chose Ruston, and have no regrets!

Lived in Monroe my entire life until 4 years ago. It is not a place for families with small children. Ruston would be much nicer, has rolling hills and is not too far to drive if you work in Monroe.

I agree about Ruston. It's a much smaller town than the dump known as Monroe/W. Monroe, and I like driving around the pretty rolling countryside that surrounds it. Lake Claiborne is just a few miles away.
