We are looking at riverfront condos near Glenview on the Eastside of Louisville and were surprised about how inexpensive properties on the water are. This would be a hot commodity in almost any city in the U.S., but Louisville seems lukewarm about their river. Is a river home considered a bad investment in Louisville? We are also looking at building a home in Norton Commons. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks.

Huh? Glenview is one of the wealthiest and most prestigious areas in the Midwest, and even the US. Go for that area. Very nice.

Norton Commons is a completely different vibe but is shaping up to be very great. I personally prefer the Highlands though.
