Looking into moving to one of these two places and I'm interested to hear from people who have lived at one or the other.

Comparison so far:

Sq. Ft.
Worthington - 1242
Lofts - 920

Rent
W - $865/mo (includes nothing)
L - $825/mo (includes internet and DirecTV)

Utilities
W - ~$120/month
L - ?

I'm wondering what water and electric at the lofts would be like. Also wondering what the management and the neighbors are like. I know the neighborhood pretty well, so I'm not too worried about that.

Thanks for any info!

i hear you say you know the neighborhood, but the projects directly behind the lofts on broadway would give me pause. i don't know what the parking situation is there but i would be very leary of leaving my vehicle in that lot. also would be very hesitant to walk around there at night. i personally had a gun pointed at me less than a block from there in broad daylight. i've lived in several cities larger than louisville and love urban living, just don't think that place is very safe at all.

hopefully they will be tearing down those projects soon and rebuilding like they did on muhammed ali by the hospital. greatly improved that area. it's a shame because from what i have seen they seem to be very resonably priced units.(perhaps the price reflects the area?)
