Jobs in Louisville area
I visited Louisville about 6 months ago, after looking into several hundred places to relocate to I find that Louisville to be the right fit for me.
I think that I would really like this town and it's surronding areas, I like the smaller big cities with parks and recreation amenities. And also love doing things outdoors.....camping,fishing,hunting.etc. But also need to be about no more than 15 minuets away from wal-mart, home depot, good restuarants,
shopping. So I am going to make my move, I have worked in the plastics industry for the past 18 years and may have to find another occupation when moving to the Louisville area. So any help with me finding employment
in the Louisville area would be greatly appreciated.

gjs Have you tried looking at Riverport? It is in SW Jefferson county and has many warehouses/industries there. You may be able to find a job in plastics there.

Thanks for the reply missymomof3, I'll put that on my list of places to check out when I go to the louisville area in the next few weeks. I hear that the liquer industry is big in the area, I make plastic bottles. Maybe this would be an area to also check into, doe's anyone know where the liquer bottling companies are located in KY?

UPS has its largest hub in Louisville so it includes a lot more than the common "package handler" jobs. Don't be quick to dismiss it.
Zappos.com also has a good sized hub outside of L'ville.
