Hello!
Myself and two of my friends want to get away from family and kids for a night away in Louisville (we're from Ohio) We went to Lexington a couple of years ago and had a blast - and are investigating possibilities in louisville.
I saw fourth street live online and it looked like fun - then read that it's definitely a 20-something crowd "looking to get laid" - if I got that correctly
We like to drink, dance, eat good food and have fun - but with a slightly older, classier (but not too stuffy) crowd. Any ideas for restaurants, bars, clubs, live music, cool taverns, etc.?? Like my title says, we are in our mid-30s but definitely don't have a foot in the grave yet - LOL thanks!

4th st live is still cool just to see. the bowling alley sports club is fun and makers mark lounge can be fun. but stick to the local areas. for dinner/ dance clubs for 30 and up try jeff rubys or mozz and its connected nulu lounge. you have to hit the lounge and free modern art museum at proof and the 21c hotel. in fact, thats where id stay. also dont miss nulu, places like harvest wiltshire and now rye are gems. do not miss bardstown rd. sapporo is a hip sushi spot for your age, and seviche is among the best restaurants in town. i also love 610 magnolia. drakes is located in the heart of st mathews and us good for dancing later at night. hit up the local shops on franfort ave and dont miss restaurants like basa or volare.

also you have to walk around the highlands and cherokee park. if you like irish pubs molly malones is a great one and usually has a band. if sre more specific as to your style, we can help more. louisville is a very big city compared to lexington.
