Default Briar Hill...

Why are there so many houses for sale in Briar Hill? On some streets there are several houses in a row that are on the market, but there doesn't seem that any have sold within the last two months. I could see where the main entrance can be a deterrant but is there something else I'm missing?

I looked on Semonin - there is a subdivision called Briar Hill but it shows no properties for sale.

Actually it is listed under Briar Hill Estates on the Semonin site and it is located off of KY-22 just over the Oldham county line past the Murphy Lane intersection on the left.

Default I'm clueless

Some subdivisions post their HOA bylaws/meeting info online. There have been times when the members will discuss new construction developments happening close to the subdivision, etc., and you get insight into what might be coming down the pike. For Briar Hill Estates, I have been unable to find anything on their HOA meetings using Google.

Sometimes, when there have been public meetings about proposed zoning changes for a region and the residents attend and voice their opinions, the name of their subdivisions will pop up in a google search buried in the minutes of the meetings (yes, the minutes can be l-e-n-g-t-h-y reading). I'm not getting anything for Briar Hill Estates.

Sorry, have nothing to offer - maybe someone else will have a clue.

Wonder if a large company recently moved from KY to another state, causing massive transfers.

I live in Briar Hill. It's a wonderful place to live. We have homes here valued form mid-200's to 800,000.
